The tour itinerary is designed for the discerning traveller who, inspired by the days of the early 19th century, would prefer to visit places as done by the legendary foresters of the Imperial Service. On your arrival you shall be received by the company representative and transferred to Hotel Claridges, New Delhi.

The Claridges is a timeless hotel, celebrating style and hospitality, friendly service, fine décor, haute cuisine and modern leisure and business facilities in a location that is in the heart of New Delhi.

A couple of days in Delhi will not only help you getting over from the jetlag but also give you insight into the hustle & bustle of Old Delhi.

Your next port of call is Agra and the visit to the Taj Mahal. One night at Hotel The Oberoi Trident.

Thereafter, a night at the Chambal Safari Lodge, Bah to acquaint yourselves with National Chambal Sanctuary in a motor boat. The sanctuary is home to a Indian Skimmers, Gangetic Fresh Water Dolphin, the Indian Gharial & Marsh Corocodiles. The calm waters of the Chambal affords fine views of the surrounding countryside & the Chambal Badlands. Of the birds there are a good 300 species to watch and photograph.

Your next destination after an overnight train journey is Katni from where you shall be picked up by our representative and driven to Bandhavgarh, in time, for the evening jungle safari. A total of three nights are recommended at Bandhavgarh to make a tryst with the elusive tiger. Keeping in view the smallness of the park and the deciduous nature of the country your chances of spotting a tiger are extremely high.

The next Wildlife Park on your agenda is the Satpura National Park, a short 3 hours drive back to Katni and thereafter a day-time train journey to Papariya, from where you shall be picked up by our representative and transferred to the Forsyth Lodge.

The Satpura National Park enables you not only to take the game drives but also guided walks to experience wildlife in this remote area. The Feline family, sloth Bears, the Indian Wild dogs, locally called Dholes & the Jackals can be spotted in the area. The booming calls of the pack of dogs on a hunt are particularly mesmerizing.

Your last port of call is Mumbai, reachable after a 4 hours drive to Bhopal, for a flight to Mumbai. A night at the beautiful Taj Mahal Palace Hotel will be a befitting exit from your great Indian adventure!
