Maldives islands are well known for a perfectly relaxable Beach Holiday or a luxury Honeymoon. It is also known the world over as a fine destination for diving or snorkeling. With shallow waters, luxurious accommodation, indulgent spas, it is a dream destination.

The Maldives have a tropical climate with two distinct seasons. The wet monsoons from May to November and the Dry season from December to March. The temperatures hover around 30c. Your next port of call is Jaipur, a destination well-known for the delightful handicrafts and jewels, which are a cottage industry.

Your final destination is the romantic archipelago of Maldives. On your arrival, you & your luggage shall be spirited away to the atoll for an amazing holiday!

Your journey begins with your arrival in Mumbai (Bombay) and stay at the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel built by the doyen of Indian industry Jamsetji Tata in the year 1904. Located on the harbor, opposite the imposing Gateway of India, the hotel has seen extraordinary events and memories; from hosting the Maharajas, foreign dignitaries from across the globe to some of those who have left an indelible mark on the contemporary world. A half-day sightseeing in Mumbai will take you through the buildings of interesting Gothic architecture, Victoria Terminus and the Crawford a whole-sale fruit, vegetable and poultry market.

Your next destination is Cochin. Cochin is one of the most interesting towns in S. India. A trading port since the Roman empire, it has been on the main route between Europe & China. The mixture of Indo-European culture in unmistakable.

A short drive from Cochin takes you to Allepey from where you shall board your exclusive House Boat, for backwaters cruise, enjoying a life-style, which is primitive but thrilling. The boat carries you in the various backwater canals, giving a quietly unique insight into Keralan rural life. You will spend the day gently exploring the backwaters, from the deck of your HB.

Your next port of call is Kumarakom and a stay at the delightful Kumarakom Lake resort. The resort is set amidst palm groves and silvery canals, a delight to be in for a couple of nights.
