We trust your family, your friends & you are all well and in good health, confronted as we are by Covid-19.
India is yet struggling to contain the infection. However, we are happy to write that the recovery rate is very healthy and very soon we will come to terms with the deadly virus. We expect this turn around by October/November 2020.
We are already looking forward to having our valued customers, our patrons with us, once the pandemic subsides, and international air traffic resumes.
Keeping in view the seriousness of the safety measures, we all need to adopt and fastidiously apply, we have devised our own Guidelines with respect to travel by car / coaches. These are as under:
Our commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- a. Hotels: We use Standard / High-end Hotels and will ensure that all Guidelines issued by the Health Department, Govt. of India / WHO, are scrupulously followed. The drill is pasted on the individual hotel websites, for check. E.g. https://www.tridenthotels.com/covid19-update
- b. Cars & Coaches: We understand the importance of sanitisation & disinfection of our cars and coaches. While earlier the emphasis was on cleaning and physical checks for any mechanical failure; after the advent of Covid-19 we shall introduce Stage-2 process which primarily involves sanitisation and disinfection.
To ensure utmost care & safety of our Guests, the following process will be in place in Stage-2:
- 1. Liquid Soap Solution to clean all touch points & followed by plain water to wipe off soap solution.
- 2. Surface Disinfection Spray & application on all touch points, including seats.
- 3. The vehicles shall be parked in bright sunshine for one hour.
Touch points explained
- a. Vehicle door handles both inside & outside.
- b.Seat Belts both sides including fastening buckles.
- c. Arm rests.
- d. Trash bags replaced & disinfected.
- e. Stability handles.
- f. Seat adjustment levers.
- g. Window buttons & glass.
- h. Goodies basket and goodies packets.
- i. Mobile chargers & cables thereof.
- j Steering wheel, Gear lever & all electrical switches.
- k. Overhead & front racks and storage.
Other general parameters
- l. The car assigned for your duty will have Hand Sanitizers / Dry & Wet Tissues / Face masks / Gloves, for use of Guests & local Guides.
- m. Cold-towels, drapes and seat covers have been discontinued for now.
- n. No physical documents viz. Itineraries, hotel & service vouchers & inland Air-tickets etc. shall be issued. These will be in electronic form and emailed to you before your arrival.
- o. Wearing masks and gloves is made mandatory for all of our staff who will come to receive you, the driver and the local Guides.
